Singapore has a busy port, strict airspace rules and a dense city on a small island, which gives useful test cases for robot teams:
- Sea: port operations, hull inspection, search and rescue in busy shipping lanes.
- Air: drones over dense urban areas, under strict rules about where they may fly.
- Land: ground robots in crowded public spaces, estates and campuses.
To do: find out which of these have public datasets or simulators. So far:
- Air and ground: AGT-CV, a small real air-ground dataset, and MAG-VLAQ, place recognition from the ground against aerial images.
- Sea: Above and Below does SLAM for one surface vessel and several AUVs. DRACo-SLAM2 has a real three-robot sonar dataset.
